To encourage students to observe and document the world around them, the International College launches the “Winter Break Good News” Initiative. We invite all students to share interesting stories and people from your daily life through your writing, photography, or video.
Activity Period: From now until March 6, 2026.
Submission Formats & Requirements:
1. Written News Article: Not exceeding 500 words in English.
2. Photo Story: Must include the location and time of the photograph, accompanied by a description (in English or Chinese, under 300 words) explaining the purpose and intent behind the shot.
3. Video Report: Shot horizontally on a mobile device, with a duration under 5 minutes. Chinese or English subtitles are required.
Submission Method: Submit your work through designated email sao_ic_lsu@126.com.
Recognition & Incentives:
All selected works will receive an official Publication Certificate.
Works further published by university-level or higher official media outlets will qualify for comprehensive assessment bonus points, equivalent to the standards for a second prize in academic competitions at the corresponding level.
The top three contributors with the highest number of published works will be awarded “Top Recorder” certificates.
